Finding our peace

Finding our peace in the midst of the storm isn’t always easy.  We get weary of the battles, of the storms that rage around us.  We feel stuck in the middle of the problems, with no life raft out of the huge waves that wash over us.  We struggle to keep our heads above the waters, while deep inside we sink deeper into despair much as if we were in the flooding waters sinking or being washed out to sea.  Recently in Arkansas, there was a flash flood.  In a matter of hours during the night, while the campers slept, the river rose to such heights, they were washed away.  Although the televisions, the radios issued the warning, it was 2 am, the sound came too late.   In hindsight, many said, ” We should have remembered this is the time of year when storms arise in the blink of an eye.”  This is why spirit reminds us all, myself included in this, to listen even if spirit says something so far off the wall, so crazy it could never happen, or “it will not happen to me”, to be prepared.  Listen to the message, weigh it in our balance of our lives, this is what will give us peace.  We are prepared.  We are ready to accept the changes that will come. We are sure that we know our path.  We will have peace.

I will be working my usual hours today. I will be quitting just a bit earlier this am about 12:30.  I look forward to helping each person find their peace, their hope, to be prepared for what will come!  Miracles will come as did for my client who left feedback after much worry, much doubt yesterday.  Our future is bright. Distrust

Often we find ourselves distrusting everyone, and everything.  We have good reason to do so.  We’ve been hurt so often in the past it is hard for us to believe there is any good things in this universe.  If we really stop to think, though,  are we not trusting this person because of things they have done or said, or because of others in our lives.  Each person is unique,brought into our lives for a reason.  Every person is not going to cause us harm, or lie to us, each person is different from others.   Take care to see if the person we are interacting with is someone who has hurt many people, or is someone who has helped many.  Everyone is not out to “get us”.   Not too long ago, I hired a contractor to do some remodeling for me.  Everyone started telling me the “horror” stories of their contractors woes.  When I saw he hadn’t been to the house a couple of days to work, I started panicking. Oh no,he’s just dumped me in the middle of the job.  But spirit said, No, give the kid a chance.  So I discerned  to wait.  Well, his truck broke down, his cell  phone wasn’t working, but now he’s back on the job!   Listening to spirit guides is what keeps us from the extra “unnecessary ” worries, doubts and anxiety that we might otherwise have in our lives.  Listening to the guides given us either to ourselves or our advisor helps to keep us knowing that waiting is hard, but we can do it in peace and calmness.

Candle Magick: Yesterday when I wrote about blue, I got several emails stating the client had been led to use blue without even realizing they were using the right colour.  This is great.  Today lets talk about RED.  Be careful when using red, as although a colour of passion, power, and great magick, it is also the colour of anger, jealousy and greed.  This color creates a fire energy very powerful,  if we use it when we are feeling negative, angry or upset,it will pull that power into our work.  Yet, red is good for when we need it, such as many experts tell us to wear red when interviewing for a job,  or to entice a lover.  This works with candle work as well.

Healthy Days

In life, we are given a chance to take care of ourselves, and we are given a path to follow.  Getting the path right, keeping ourselves full of vibrant, health in all areas, in mental, in physical, in financial health, we can keep our minds clear to stick on the destiny we are meant to have in our lives.  We all do it, we are taught from childhood to make our Higher power first, then others, then worry about ourselves.  Over time;’ however, my guides have taught me that if my own house, body, life isn’t in order, then I can’t be there for others.   Visiting my son, I was so proud of him.  He was diagnosed with diabetes, his blood sugar being usually high last  year.  He has gone on a complete vegan diet, no eggs, dairy products, no sodas, meat, or processed sugars and flours.  His blood sugar is balanced without insulin.  He looks and feels so good.  This has helped me realize that we all should sort out what we need in life, take the challenge full on, and in whatever health needs, be it mental, physical,spiritual or financial, do the necessary steps, wait on the universe when necessary to sit back and let spirit take over, taking care of ourselves.   Our load will be lighter, our path less rocky, our hearts in good spirits, as we take the time to make sure we are healthy, and in peace.

I am here my usual hours today.  10 am - 1 pm central time and 4 -11 pm central time. I will be stopping for a bit around 7 pm central time to take an outside reading in my home.  I have owed this lady a reading for quite some time, but it will only be 1/2 hour. Beauty

There are people who are quite beautiful on the outside.  Everything about them seems to glow, to shine, to cause us to pause, to look at them with wonder, with awe.  Then as we get to know them, we can see the soul is superficial, full of negativity, full of selfishness, full of ugliness.  We no longer want to be around this person.  Then we see the disabled person smiling huge smiles, giving hugs, the poor person proud of the littlest accomplishment, we can see the beauty of this person’s soul, and we know that this is the true beauty of life.  When our light shines with positivity, with hope, with light, we are beautiful, no matter our age, our weight, our height.  We can then know that life is full of beauty in everywhere we look, if we look in the right way.  Try to find one beautiful thing today, smile alot today, we’ll all feel better.

Tips:  Now that the weather is getting warmer, remember to drink lots of water.  I schedule one glass of water an hour.  This keeps our skin, our body hydrated, keeps the oxygen flowing to our brains, keeps us clearerheaded and physically healthy.

I am here until 11:30 this am then again from 4 -11 pm central time. I’m going with my mom to see the “Last Song”.  We read the book, it was so good, a touching story of love, forgiveness and family.

confidence

I always taught my children that they are capable of doing anything.  As a young mother( very young) I didn’t even stop to think that both of my children would have problems doing anything.  Imagine my stunned, sad reaction when they told me my son had multiple eye problems, probably wouldn’t ever read.  Well, spirit led us to a home school program at our church where one patient teacher and I both worked with him.  Today both my children are successful in everything they do.  My daughter put herself  through college running track and field, working part-time.  During her running years , she was 3rd in the whole southeastern conference 3 years in a row,team captain 3 years , and MVP all 3 of the same years.  Today she holds a BS, 2 MS, and is a practicing RN,  mother, and a successful wife.  My son owns his own software, search engine company,reservation company with properties in Mexico,  plays golf, and shoots a mean game of pool, and is a successful husband and father.   Of course, not that I’m bragging LOL.  The point I’m making is that  I never stopped to think that these two might not have the ability to do what ever they wanted to do.  I had full confidence, giving them the confidence that whatever they tried, they could, they would do it.   This is the same idea,same concept that spirit has my mission to share, to input into each of us.  We can do it.  Not too long ago, I had to use a walker to walk even around my home, now sometimes long distances I still use a cane, but I didn’t give up.  I now use the treadmill about 25 minutes a day, building up the muscles even though some of my leg nerves are still dead.   Confidence that spirit will help us, confidence that we deserve the best the universe has to offer, belief in ourselves, our loved ones is our hope to make it through yet another day, another month, the rest of our lives.

Animal totem:  For those who asked, beaver.  Of course, beaver doesn’t hang out  where I live, but since he has come to me through several different clients here is his medicine:   Beaver is the builder, the doer in our universe. His medicine teaches us to build our dreams, to work on them, set goals, and build them up to reality.  Beaver instills in us strong family ties.  This marvelous animal builds dams but puts many exits, doors, paths in it so never stuck in a dangerous place.  If beaver comes to you , it is time to put your ideas, your plans into action.  Also to settle differences with fellow workers, loved ones, as the family, the group ties are important to achieve these goals. Look for multiple solutions to a problem.  There is always an escape route, another solution to the problems at hand.

Positive Energy From Mother Earth

THis morning spirit and I sat and talked of many different topics.  I was thinking of something that happened at the grocery yesterday.  A woman had a government program issue to buy things for her family and kids.  There was a scene because on the program she wasn’t allowed to buy a certain kind of milk although her pamphlet said any brand, and no POTATOES. No potatoes. I wanted to give her the money for the potatoes but from past experience I knew that wasn’t the answer.  See, my spirit has always told us that people don’t want charity, they want to work.  I have always been a firm believer of work.  My son tells a story of when he was 9, he wanted a ninetendo. I made him save his allowance, work with his dad who owned a landscaping business, and he’ll even tell you that he had to sell his dog. Which isn’t true. Our landlady didn’t want the dog there and his dad’s mother paid him so she would take it so he would have enough for his ninetendo.  Recently a man here where I live lost his job, so I bought 2 walking sticks he carved from him. Sold one on ebay the other I use when hiking with the dogs. The point being- our leaders have forgotten that it builds self-esteem for people to work- as far back as the Native Americans, if someone wanted something we had, it was traded for, paid for, nothing was free. Spirit is showing me that we WANT to  go back to the bartering, the working, building our self-esteem in ourselves.  When we have too much government control,we have no freedom.  No Freedom to get potatoes!.  We need jobs, not just be handed government controlled health, food.  We want to work, to have the ability to decide how much money we want to make, what we want to buy, what doctor we want to see!  Do not despair.  As I meditated this am, I was filled with surety that the universe is listening to us, even if we think no one is listening.  Listening about our dreams, our needs, our hearts, our loves.  Do not doubt today we are being heard. Much energy is being put into bringing back joy, self-esteem,hope into our lives.

Animal totem: Turtle:  Turtle is the oldest symbol for the Mother Earth.  It is the goddess energy, the energy of give and take.  Turtle shows clearly the changes of Earth, new growth, new changes.  With turtle medicine, we have the shell to shield us from the hurts, the inconsiderate moves of others.  Turtle shows us how to protect ourselves .  If we are hurt by others, go inside ourselves, find our strength, and protect ourselves again.  If attacked,  it is okay to fight back, not in a destructive way, but positive snapping back. If turtle has come to us today, it is saying find ways to be creative in letting Mother Earth our provider of our needs to get our dreams done.

Imagination

Many things on the earthly plane just has no logic at all, yet we,as people, insist on trying to make things as logical as possible.  We very often refuse to think outside our box looking for newer heights to scale, things to turn around without a clue that it is coming or a reasonable explanation of why it would happen.  I have many plants in my house but I have one a spathiphyllum, in my back dressing room.  Although I water my other plants once a week, “baby” as I call this one, after 2 days starts wilting.  No rhyme or reason, no logical reason as to why this one needs watering more often.  Yet 2 tablespoons of water and “baby” perks right back up.  People are often like that. Some people need more attention, more nuturing than others.  Some need more time to get spiritual lessons.  Trying to make it logical, without using our imagination will have the idea, the dream wither and die, much like not nuturing “baby” will do.  I have another of these same species in my kitchen but.. doesn’t need watering as often. Make any sense? No, but I watch, pay attention, let them both grow. We, as spiritualists, do the same.  We watch, pay attention, listen to the spirit guides, watch people grow. No logic, letting ideas, dreams, thoughts form from hope into fruitation, letting the spiritual manifestation grow into physical.  Let our imaginations give us hope, help us grow today.

Frugal tips:  Watch the new credit card bills help us with our interest rates.  New bill helps us keep the cc companies from killing us with interest rates.

All around outside here today, the snow is still falling.  Here in Tn this means the streets have rolled up, the stores mostly are closed, schools are closed, life in on standby.  Spirit knows that we all at times feel as our lives are on standby, in limbo, we are waiting.  The snow helps remind us that even in waiting, in just sitting still,there is beauty.  Our rat race is slowed down, we can just sit, rest, revive, and reconnect with our inner spirit.  other Times in our lives, even when snow doesn’t stop  us, events keep us waiting. How we use that time of waiting is our importance.  Spirit is saying, We know we are tired, we need the help, we need to stop sitting still and let life really begin.  Take the time today to sit still, quiet our spirit,  listen, we will hear the answers in beauty.

Frugal tips:  Do we know that this year trying to find a job can bring tax deductions?  Many of us go ahead, do the short form,but gas,car maintence, even postage stamps call be taken off the long form when out of work.  Check with our local CPA. Remember long live the small local businessman!

absences

Many times we say, oh this is too long, we don’t see how that if this was meant to be, if spirit was truly in it, it would take so long,or have obstacles or be difficult.  The thing is to build a truly good fire, the longer we pump air, wind, the longer we let it burn, catching more in the wind, the hotter,the stronger, the bigger it gets until it becomes a force that is hard to stop, hard to contain,hard to change.  This, took, is the great love that we can feel when the love is real.  Yes, there may be obstacles,changes along the way, but the fire continues to grow, be it a love affair, be it a career opportunity, be it a spiritual growth.  Fire came make things stronger.  Putting steel in fire makes it sharper, stronger,unbendable.  Putting our love, our lives, our dreams in the line of fire, standing against the flames,but also let the fire in our hearts burn brighter will mold, will build them stronger, will make them unbreakable.

Continuing In Growing in Spirituality

Even when we don’t realize it,everything in the universe, in life,on our path, always leads back to the spiritual. We just don’t recognize that Higher power has a plan before we are born, wants us to seek that plan, stay on it, that will GIVE US TRUE Happiness! Some talk of “free will”, but spirit has shown me over my 56 years that I have choices I can make, but if I truly want happiness, my needs met,I need to mold my will to Higher power’s will, Higher power’s plan. This is why prophets, the gift of knowledge, of prophecy is taught in every religion known to man. So we can know the plan. We deter off, thinking “okay this promise is a lie, or this will never happen,” but later we see that “Oh gosh, it did happen”. Growing in spirit, not living in the past on the detours we have taken through our own choices,or perhaps choices that were made for us, or choices by Higher power to nudge us back on the right path, learning to listen to spirit without preconceived ideas, thinking we already know, don’t have anything to learn is important for each, every one of us. This year I am sharing ways to grow spiritually as we walk through this life.

How to get a good reading: 1) Be open to hear. Sometimes spirit wants to talk about something different than what we want to hear.2) Meditate on the question we have. SPirit will pick it up 3) Try not to confuse, the spiritual leader we are consulting. Many times we feel ashamed to tell the truth so we don’t let the advisor know he/she is picking up the right information. This is why this is confidential. 4) Believe our advisor has our best interests at heart. If we don’t trust our advisor, our pastor, the spiritualist can feel that, puts negativity into the reading. 5) Yes in all walks of life,there are scammers. Know that these people are flyby nights. There one day, gone the next. Someone that hangs in there for years, still putting in the effort, still hanging on no matter how many problems, with pretty much great feedeback is not a scammer. Yesterday I had 5 clients who were not talking about me, but other advisors who got a bad feedback from 1 client. Sometimes these are other not very spiritual advisors trying to hurt them, other times it is very angry people who don’t like what they hear, Sometimes it is people who just try to criticize no matter what. Give the advisor a chance. Realize that what is being said is being said for a reason.
