I opened the door to my heart today, to let a piece of it fly away to others who need a helping hand, someone who can pray and stand, in the gap for those who lost their way, and then we all can say there is love. -deborahmills © 2018
Love one another and help others to rise to the higher levels, simply by pouring out love. Love is infectious and the greatest healing energy. Sai Baba
he art of healing comes from nature, not from the physician. Therefore the physician must start from nature, with an open mind. Paracelsus
Healing yourself is connected with healing others. Yoko Ono Yoko Ono to those who know of her, was not well- liked. Blaming her for the break-up of our beloved Beatles, and the what we felt was the ruin of John Lennon, we fail to realize that as with all people there are 2 sides. She also is a peace activist, developing the Strawberry Fields in New York, the Imagine Peace Towers in Iceland, John Lennon Museum in Japan. She has received Dr Rainer Hildegarnd’s Human Rights award for her work for Peace. As with most, the fine line between what we consider dark, and light, shows up as some love her, some criticize her. All of us have sides that people like, or find fault. The more we try to take stands, do good works, or help, the more the critics will come. So when we love someone, as John loved Yoko, we defend, we stand for them, warts and all. In our minds, we need to decide to love with all our hearts, then we can battle any fight, any problems. Accentuate in our minds their goodness, let the rest of the world criticize, then we will see the love between us build, opening the heart chakra wide, and long.
Animal totems: Patridge: Sister Partridge is a ground nesting bird, which in the “12 days of Christmas,” her totem being in a pear tree is most likely not true. Her totem first appeared to the world in Greek mythology, when the prophet Daedalus, threw his nephew Perdix off the sacred hill of Athena in a fit of jealous rage. Perdix changed into the partridge on his way down to save his life. So her totem builds her nest of the ground to stay grounded, no fear of falling. Her totem reminds us to go ahead, build our dreams, without fear of failing or falling. Her medicine shares to remain grounded during all issues.
Another great treat for the holidays if a meat eater, are sausage balls. 1 pound pork sausage, 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese ( you can use other cheese if preferred) and 2 cups Bisquick mix. ( if you prefer a generic brand its okay) mix with hands( again gloves will be helpful ) shape into balls and put on a foiled, lightly cooking sprayed pan, then bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until sausage is fully cooked.
