Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Steve Jobs
I believe that two people are connected at the heart, and it doesn’t matter what you do, or who you are or where you live; there are no boundaries or barriers if two people are destined to be together. Julia Roberts
Love myself I do. Not everything, but I love the good as well as the bad. I love my crazy lifestyle, and I love my hard discipline. I love my freedom of speech and the way my eyes get dark when I’m tired. I love that I have learned to trust people with my heart, even if it will get broken. I am proud of everything that I am and will become. Johnny Weir
My father was a veteran. Today we celebrate all veterans! Active military, inactive, retired, passed over to journey with the eagles in the sky. Yet celebrating this about my father reminds me of many other things my father taught me. To be a real hero, we forgive, we leave judgment to the “religious”, we allow each person the right to make mistakes, grow on paths we may understand or just are illogical to us. From his teachings of the law of nature, animals, trees, stones, herbs, we learned to adjust our own thinking to manifest our dreams by continuing to take each step one step at a time. Giving up were like four letter words. Yet the most important lesson we learned from this veteran, this hero of sports, this man we held in high esteem, was that people are keepers. Love can override any problems, any faults. Throwing away people because of what WE consider a mistake, although in his/her eyes may or may not be a mistake, is an unacceptable attitude, unacceptable actions to take. His law of life was to take this new day, make it better than yesterday, as if we continue to throw people away each time we fight, argue, disagree, we are left alone. When we love, we are the smarts one, the loving ones, the trusting ones, while we make people throwaways , that is the foolish day. We are never foolish to open our heart and love. We are strong, continuing on toward the dream. For our lives, for our homes, for our families, for our country, the small pictures of our lives, the big picture for our country, this is the lessons of our heros. My dad, our vets, ourselves. Never giving up, never throwing away, one step at a time. Thanks Dad.
Animal totems: Human: Bro, Sister Human is an animal. Yet this totem reminds us that through proper communication, higher intelligence, the ability to reason out problems, come up with solutions rather than giving up, is our greatest ability. His medicine reminds us to love unconditionally as the universe is given for our greater good.
Lady Moon is the New Dark Moon tonight. On this Veteran’s Day, she enters into New Moon at 12;47 pm, in 19 degree Scorpio. This new moon is about “I desire”. Sharing with us the ability to desire our needs, our wants, our hopes. The 4th house is also in Scorpio, the scorpion, so we are reminding to watch our sting. Today is also the Hindu Celebration of Festival of Lights, Diwali. This is when the Hindus honor the 7th incarnation of god Vishnu, remembering his 14 year exile. Rama-chandra battled, winning over the demon god, with the help of goddess Lakshmi, goddess of light, overcoming darkness over light, good over evil. This is celebrated by rows of clay lights, hanging lights. Flowers, sweets!! What an awesome holiday.
I am here my usual hours today. May the fairies dance around each of today. Love ya, Me,Cherokee, Frankiecapone, Sugar, Apache, Apollo, T and the sweet spirit of Bob and Bets.
