“There are moments when i wish i could roll back the clock and take all the sadness away, but i have a feeling that if i did, the joy would be gone as well. So i take the memories as they come, accepting them all, letting them guide me whenever i can.” ― Nicholas Sparks, Dear John

“I realized how truly hard it was, really, to see someone you love change right before your eyes. Not only is it scary, it throws your balance off as well.”  Sarah Dessen, The Truth About Forever

“Your hand opens and closes, opens and closes. If it were always a fist or always stretched open, you would be paralysed. Your deepest presence is in every small contracting and expanding, the two as beautifully balanced and coordinated as birds’ wings.” ― Rumi, Essential Rumi

Three dogs, all different sizes, all different personalities stood in my window seat in the den looking out.  Suddenly all three started not barking, not yipping, not whining, but actual howling as if we were out in the darkest part of the night, with the full moon in the deepest woods.  Pointing their noses up toward the sky, my three pups were not afraid but just warning the world that someone had the nerve to walk down the street!  Since this person walks every day, I told the three amigos as I call them they were being a bit extreme in the howling loudly.  This reminded me as well that people are extremists.  We either are extremely happy, or extremely in the depths of despair.  We chose one thing that is going to make our lives happy, the One exact goal, dream we have that is going to solve all our problems, will make us the happiest we have ever been or ever will be.  In researching the quotes I found so many that I wanted to just send a whole page of quotes today! Yet again extremes.  I can share these quote another day.  I can still accomplish what I hope to accomplish with balance.  I love this work.  There are times when I start talking to someone.  This person is a basket of chaos, of panick, of anxiety, of fear ( our worst enemy).  I watch over time, he/she changes.  If one thinks our guy, our love, our child won’t change, work this work, this mission for a while, and watch over time as balance, peace, hope comes back into lives.  We, the clairvoyant, share the Future ! yes my friends, what WILL happen. Not that it is happening right this exact second, but life changes. All life changes.  The truth is we all have storms.  How we handle the storms is the key, we need balance.  Our deepest presence is the opening and closing of life.

Animal totems:  We all think of Lemming as running off into the sea in a mass suicide.  When asking animal experts we read,” It’s a complete urban legend,” said state wildlife biologist Thomas McDonough. “I think it blew out of proportion based on a Disney documentary in the ’50s, and that brought it to the mainstream.”  Yet when there are too many, some migrate to balance the pack, the family.  Lemming helps us see all the problems, from every side with balance, to think outside of the box, to go without fear into the unknown to newer grounds.  Bro Lemming tells us to balance, to know when to fight for the right,or when to choose our battles.
