To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man. William Shakespeare

Trust yourself. Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life. Make the most of yourself by fanning the tiny, inner sparks of possibility into flames of achievement. Golda Meir

The situation had become much worse. Everyone involved was angry with everyone else, all sides had become divided, no one was accomplishing anything.   Meanwhile, limbo had set in. Stalemate, standoff, at a complete standstill, no one can accomplish anything. Everyone, anyone has an opinion, telling us we are crazy, we are stupid, we are doing the wrong thing, at the wrong time. From ages on, from Shakespeare to Golda Meir, inner voices, visionary plans, have led the world, the people to bigger, better things. No one likes changes. Everyone fears the unknown, whether or not, we are on the right path.   We stay unhappy, unclear, as the darkness tries to take over, convincing us that we have no hope, no choices. So we lay down our sword, we give up the fight, sadly no one wins.   Every day we are faced with heartache . Every day we feel pain, sadness at the energies of light dimmed by the constant “noise” of the world around us. We can’t seem to find the reason we are in the middle of this fight after all. Yet, there in the far distant, far down the dark tunnel, there is a little glimmer of light. The spiritual world picks up our despair, offers us another glimpse of hope, of longing, of the energies of light that will give us the chance to move forward toward the dream. Create our day, create our light from within. Shut out the noises from others, the nay sayers, allowing the tiny spark of possibility into our hearts, into our lives.

Animal totems; Phoenix:   Sister Phoenix is the fire element of passion, love, and light. She is the guardian of the Light. She brings renewal, death rebirth of our lives, our souls, our dreams, our hearts . This totem reminds us to have hope when we feel nothing but despair, bitterness, loss of the motivation to keep going. Her medicine reminds us to call on Phoenix for strength, for renewed energy, for light, for hope.   As Father Sol allows the darkness to cover him at night, he rises again every day to shine again, as Phoenix rises out of the dust of death to the plan, rebirth comes again.
