The best laid plans of mice and men often to awry – Robert Burns
If the mountain won’t go to Mohammed, let Mohamed go to the Mountain – not credited* is considered an old Turkish proverb
In preparing for battle I have always found that plans are useless, but planning is indispensable. Dwight D. Eisenhower
Yesterday my plans for the day went straight to hades in an handbasket. I had planned a grill – out for my mom, but the weather report was saying horrible storms. And my mother fell ill. So I cancelled the BBQ. The day turned bright and Sunny, my mother felt 10 times better, which is all good yet I thought my hard work and plans were ruined. Yet I packed things up, took lunch to her, went swimming and my day turned out pretty good after all!! To boot, by taking cake to the nursing facility, I got 2 orders for decorated cakes. I made 2 sales!! Life has a way of twisting on us that when we see from the psychic standpoint ( I never could see this party happening) we have a plan B in place to make our day fine regardless of all our best laid plans and expectations. No matter what life throws us, we can find a silver lining in the plans of the spirit! And we can dream. Dream on, Dream Big, Dream.
Animal totems : Mole: Bro mole tunnels under our yards and lawns, sometimes to the point of frustration. His tunnels go as a maze deep within, but giving him many ways out. His totem is nearly blind, his sense of smell, and instinct giving him the way to go instead of “seeing”. His totem reminds us to follow our inner voices while preparing for plan B, while his medicine shares to not see right now, but know to listen to the messages of the spirit
Lady Moon is Waxing Crescent. She enters Libra the scales at 1:47 pm central time reminding us to stay balanced no matter what life throws at us. Peaches are a good source of Vit C, and good to help hydrate since they have lots of water. This fruit tree is awesome to grow as they will start bearing fruit within 3 years. To start your own peach tree, after pulling the pit from the fruit, refrigerate for 2 weeks. Then crack open pull the seed out,and plant in a 6 inch pot. Fill the bottom of the pot with 1 -2 inches of water, then the dirt. This will keep the dirt moist. Put in the seed, cover with just a bit more potting soil. Then set in the sun!!! within 2 weeks we will see sprouts!
