Raindrops keep fallin’ on my head Just like the guy whose feet are too big for his bed Nothing seems to fit Oh, raindrops keep fallin’ on my head Keep a-fallin’ Cause I just done me some talking to the sun And I said I didn’t like the way he got things done Sleeping on the job Oh, raindrops keep fallin’ on my head Keep a-fallin’ But there’s one thing I know The blues they send to meet me Won’t defeat me It won’t be long till happiness Comes up to greet me To greet greet greet greet me Raindrops keep fallin’ on my head But that doesn’t mean my eyes will soon be turning red Crying’s not for me Cause I ain’t gonna stop the rain by complaining Raindrops keep fallin’ on my head But that doesn’t mean my eyes will soon be turning red Crying’s not for me Cause I ain’t gonna stop the rain by complaining Because I’m free Nothing’s bothering me Because I’m free Nothing’s bothering me Because I’m free Nothing’s bothering me Because I’m free Nothing’s bothering me ,
The day after the holiday seems to drag by with just a sense of ugh. Our holiday festivities, diet, travel just takes the oomph out of our energy. This is the day where we can let go of the masks of happiness we wear so family, friends, others can keep the idea that all is well in our world. Today we can let go of holding ourselves up to meet the day with the illusions that we would like everyone to believe, we wake up with the old dreads, old fears flying back in to slap us in the face. So the idea we need, the thoughts we need to replace in our minds, our hearts, our spirits, is that truly even the rain has purpose in our lives to bring the cleansing, healing waters of spirit we need. The rain, the wind, the storms come to let us know what areas of our lives we need to work on, to focus. We are good people who the storms hit, to make our lives better. We often believe we are being punished. We are sure we are doing something wrong, or have done things so wrong that we only deserve the problems, the hurt, the pain. Yes, we all make mistakes that lead to repercussions, yet these rains come to show us what problems came, what path to take, what new steps to walk. So we can fill up again with power, a cleansed clear open mind, open heart, open path, fresh with the aroma of happiness as Father Sol started to shine again to dry the tears.
animal totems: Rainbow Trout : In the South, trout is a good fresh water fish. His totem is full of color, as he swims closer to the top when the sun, Father Sol, is shining. Yet, this totem also rises to the top when rain comes as more food is floating, easier to find during this time. His totem reminds us to swim easily through the rough waters to the smoother lake. His medicine reminds us that we are free, gliding through life with joy.
Positive meditations #14: Do one good thing for someone we don’t like, we consider an enemy, that has treated us shabbily. We know these actions are hard, he/she only deserving to be treated with disdain, with anger, yet this works. We are teaching forgiveness, but also showing that our bar is higher, we can show to ourselves, that we deserve the best. Being angry, mean, hateful is just plain tiring, wearing out our heart, our soul, making us feel badly about ourselves, so for ourselves, do one good thing someone who needs it.
I am here my usual hours today. May the fairies dance around each of us today. Love ya, me, Cherokee, Frankiecapone, Sugar, T and the sweet spirit of bob and Bets.
This video does not mean to suggest that if we don’t do everything exactly the way spirit says, our dreams won’t happen. it just means that most times the path will be longer, as we took a detour. don’t give up, never give up.love ya
