With Valentine’s Day coming, the greenhouse has hot house roses that are beautiful to see, beautiful to smell, beautiful to feel. The softness of the velvet petals, the brilliant colors of sun, of moon , of rainbow, of stars, the heady rose scent of love, passion overwhelms the senses so we just have to stop, stand still, just embrace the beauty, the magick of the moment. We reach out to take one so our love, our home, yet ouch! We are pricked by the very thing we find beautiful. Every rose has its thorns. Every day has its night, every cowboy has his sad song, but the end result of the sadness is a gladness that soars from the midst of our inner soul, filling us with a joy so strong that the beauty much like a rose bursting into full blossom flows out with the magick, the wonder of the whole of the universe. As we meet our day, the night slowly allowing Father Sol, the sun, to fill the sky with light, with warmth, we allow the problems to come to light, so as we meet these life lessons, our inner child can know that the thorns are only there to protect the rose, the problems are only opportunities to clear the way so the true beauty, the magick of the dream will be fulfilled fully.
