The unrest of the 60s stirred up energies of the people leaving a vast memory, open minds of change that lingers still to the present. People created riots, to shove peace, love, light into the world. Since the beginning of time, faith systems, political systems drove in with fervor to turn people’s minds, hearts, spirit’s to the way each one believed. Many hide away from the world, the news, so we don’t get stressed involved in the chaos. Each day our own individual lives have the same battles. We keep them close inside, as with “all the problems in the world, “ ours are insignificant. As we fight, struggle, push, pull, yell, scream, to get him/her to see our way, the negativity builds until we are at war within our own lives. Our first step is to find our inner truths. Be it the big picture of our country, our universe, or our own intimate lives, we need to find our truths, our path, what we desire, what is our beliefs. Our next step is to try to decide how to present our plan, choosing our battles well. Choose our battles. The question we need to ask is whether this issue is important enough to choose to take our stand. Then our step to peace, inner, outer peace is to present the plan with calmness, with peace, with quietness. Like attracts like. As in presenting a business proposal, we present the plan to show the benefit of the other person, as well as the benefit of ourselves. The easiest way to change lives is to have a win/win situation. Including our own day in ,day out lives which are just as important to the universe. Peace begins with one person, teaching another person, to love the dreams.
